What a weekend!

Wow...what a rollercoaster ride of a weekend!! Started out great! Me and my sweetie were solo this week, so we were able to get in lots of us time...after the kids went their ways (my youngest w/their father and my oldest w/her cousin), we went to a wonderful Indian restaurant in our town....and it was DELISH!! We tried an appetizer that had a various selection of yummy treats, I had a sweet Lassi...and it was YUMMY.  Had the butter chicken w/basmati rice and Spinanch Naan bread---AWESOME... After that, we came home and spent some time, I watched a movie ("Hallelujah"...and old flick....my thoughts, 'Wow', that's about all I can say...look it up, very racist....they even had a disclaimer at the beginning of the film), my sweetie was knocked out...hehe

Saturday, I went to school and made some yummy cookies...choco chip, raspberry pinwheels and orange anise biscotti w/pistachios...went shopping, ate a yummy philly chicken sandwich, came home, spent time and then I went to a local club and saw my very first Drag Queen show...Entertainment at it's best!!! And some of the men you couldn't tell were women for the fact of their height, that was their only give-away....
But in the midst of this all, my ex husband acted a FOOL...that' the best way to sum it up w/o losing it on this blog....he's an ass...makes so many unneccesary drama...anywho...I'm praying things will work out for the best...

Then on Sunday, I woke up around 11, and went to BW3's to watch the UL/Pitt game, in which UL WON!!! "L YEAH!!!" lol.  We then picked up the kids and came home....I watched a little Las Vegas Jailhouse (HA-LARIOUS) and caught a few categories of the Oscars.....

I pray also that everyone out in CyberWorld had a great and safe weekend...

TGIF!!!

Praise Cheeses!! I made it through another week!!!

Had a great time in school last night! I must say, it was one of the best nights thus far! We had a guest chef, learned some great things about Japanese Cuisine, and I even ate MY FIRST RAW SUSHI EVER!!! a Tuna/rice roll! And it wasn't bad, except for the Wasabi tearing me up!!!! But it was good...I think I can now take on a sushi bar with the best of em!!! Brang it on Sushi!!!! LOL

Should have a nice weekend...I'll get to spend some one-on-one time w/my sweetie hopefully, because it is much needed....All work/school and no play makes LaLa a dull girl and I'm farrrr from dull! Ya hear!!!

So with that said, cyberworld, have an awesomely safe weekend!!! Don't indulge too much and be careful out there!

Oh, I forgot, I'm also "getting connected" w/a few of my classmates from school Saturday night @ a local club in our area, Connections!  I can't wait.....I should have a story (stories) to tell w/the experience!!

Wow...

This is my very first stab at blogging...I see sooo many blogs out in cyberland and I'm like, "Wow...I wish I could be that creative and/or motivated". I guess I have sooo much going on in my life right now (f/t job, f/t school, 3 kiddos a fiancee) that I do good balancing all those, let alone "blogging". But it seems fun and a way to express one's self and vent, cry, etc., etc. so imma take a stab at dis thang!!

Day One
I have OFFICIALLY succeeded at my FIRST BLOG!! Yaaay me......

I'm Blogging

I'm going to take a stab at this blogging thing....

Whenever I run across blogs, i'm so intrigued, excited and jealous...I'm like "Wow, I wanna have a blog like that or 'How do they have the time to do this'"? 

Right now, I have such a full plate it's not funny.  I'm a mom of 3, f/t employee and I go to Culinary school f/t....

Not sure how i'm going to keep this up, but i'm going to try....

And so my blog journey begins....be patient w/me cyberworld and be kind :-)
